Linux developer (Finland)
Job description
Nomovok is looking for a software developer or a senior software developer in Finland, preferably from Helsinki region or Tampere. You will participate in the design, implementation and testing phases of various Linux-based software projects. Depending on the project, you might work remotely from anywhere where network connection is available, at company office, or occasionally visit customer. Working hours can be quite freely arranged to meet your personal needs.
Requirements
A candidate for the job should satisfy the following requirements:
- C/C++ development skills, preferably with actual work experience
- Good knowledge of Linux as a platform to develop software for
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
We also appreciate the following:
- Qt or GTK+ experience
- Perl skills
- Understanding of user interface design and principles of usability
- Understanding of low-level programming
- Participation in open source community/projects, or otherwise strong hobbyist background
- Verbal and written communication skills in Finnish
